The best way to join the fun on Wilshire Blvd is to arrive by public transit. Use the L.A. Metro or LADOT Dash trip planners to find the best route.
Metro Rail: Ride the D (Purple) or the B (Red) to Westlake / MacArthur Park Station.
Metro Bus Lines: 18, 20, 33, 51, or 720 Rapid.
LADOT Bus: DASH Pico Union/Echo Park route.

- Do I need a ticket or registration to attend?
No tickets, no registration, and no cost. Kick It in the Park events are free and open to all Los Angeles residents and visitors. You do, however, need to purchase a ticket for the Official FIFA Fan Fests and Fan Zones.
- What should I bring?
Blankets - Folding Chairs - Food - Water and snacks - Sunscreen
- Are there any prohibited items?
Yes, there are prohibited items. They Include:
Alcoholic Beverages - Bags Larger Than Standard Backpack Size (16.75 inches x 13 inches x 8.5 inches) - Aerosol Cans or Pressurized Containers - Confetti Cannons, Explosives, Firearms, Fireworks, Sparklers, and Weapons - Large Coolers - Drones - Glass - Identity-Covering Masks - Motor-Powered Vehicles - Narcotics or Illegal Drugs - Projection Devices - Signage Larger Than 20 ft x 3 ft - Tents and Non-Authorized Canapoies - Unleashed Animals- Are there any prohibited activities I can’t do at the event?

We encourage residents to use public transit, bike, or walk when possible.

- How is the Park to Park 2026 event funded?
The event is primarily funded by a grant from LA Metro's Open and Slow Streets Grant Program.
- What is the Reconnecting MacArthur Park project?
The Reconnecting MacArthur Park project is a community-driven effort exploring the permanent closure and removal of Wilshire Boulevard through the park to reunite the north and south sides into a continuous, safe green space.
The Park to Park 2026 event acts as a temporary "Play Street" demonstration to let the community experience this car-free vision firsthand while we build support for the permanent transformation
